Current Position:
-The Freshwater Trust: StreamWebs™ Coordinator

Thank you for visiting rentry.org--the work of Ryan Johnson. At right you will find the "toolkit", a collection of portfolios and related content compiled over the last few years, as well as my resume and contact information at the bottom of the page. A short description of each portfolio follows.

StreamWebs
In Fall '08 I began working as a contractor with The Freshwater Trust leading the development and outreach for StreamWebs, a web-based student watershed database and stewardship project planning tool. I am now coordinating all phases of the development of this tool and supporting teachers and students in the classroom. The site is not yet live, but I have linked to a Flash presentation I developed that describes the project in detail.

Watershed Restoration
In 2006 I volunteered in an AmeriCorps program in the capacity of Watershed Restoration Coordinator. This link provides materials from that experience, including a video I produced for my sponsor, Clark Public Utilities Environmental Services, as well as a short PowerPoint presentation detailing the restoration process at my project site on Lockwood Creek in northern Clark County, Washington.

Photography
This site is a work in progress. I have recently shifted my photography to an emphasis on agriculture, food, and portraits, and I am working on a new portfolio site to showcase those images.

Thank you for visiting,
